#REMINDER As we approach the last 10 days of #Rama #REMINDER As we approach the last 10 days of #Ramadan, the "balance of the year", let's try to take on a little more to build upon our normal routine: ✨ EASY WAYS TO SPEND THE LAST 10 DAYS & NIGHTS OF RAMADAN ✨ 🎯 MAKE THE INTENTION OF I'TIKAF I'tikaf (spiritual retreat) is to enter into seclusion in a designated place of worship and can be intended even for your daily prayers. The reward? The noble pursuit of I'tikaf is a highly regarded sunnah that helps to enhance one’s spiritual growth, as one strives hard to worship Allah better without distraction. Even a few moments of seclusion in worship with the intention of I'tikaf may be accepted insha'Allah. ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ 🕓 Set aside an extra 30mins/1 hour to fit around your salah times, whenever is best for you to divide your time between the following: 👥 JOIN A RAMADAN PROGRAMME: Embrace the Ramadan spirit by joining an online/onsite programme offered by our many mosques/institutes! 📖 RECITE: Recite a portion of your Khatam, a surah you have memorised or memorise a new portion of Qur'an, even if only 1 verse, and study the translation. 🕋 NAFL/ QADA'A SALAH: Catch up on your missed Fard Salāhs. Use the sacred time before Fajr to perform 2 raka'āt of Tahajjud, Salātul Hājah or Istikhara. Recite slowly with meaning, as many times as you like. For group prayers, join a Qiyāmul Layl session online/onsite such as the male & female programme offered by @mizaninstitute to experience the full khatam during the last 10 days! 📿 THIKR: Do tasbīh of Allah, send salutations upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ & make lots of Istighfār. 🤲🏼 DU'A: Read du'as from the Qur'an/ Sunnah & personal du'as in your own words. 🙏🏼 HAMD: Perform Sajdah of Shukr, lengthening your sajdah and thanking Allah for those blessings you are most grateful for. Even a few moments of seclusion in worship with the intention of I'tikaf may be accepted insha'Allah. May Allah record us amongst those who found Laylatul Qadr and grant us the ultimate reward.
